How was my pension calculated?
If you have left the Plan but do not take your benefits, you are a deferred member.

The value of your pension was calculated based on your final pensionable salary and your pensionable service at the date you left the Plan. The definitions of pensionable pay and pensionable service are different in each of the defined benefit sections within the Plan. Please go to My DB section to find out more information.

If Karen leaves the Plan, she will become a deferred member and her deferred pension will be calculated as:
Pensionable pay x pensionable service x accrual rate

What happens to my pension between now and retirement?
When you left the Plan we calculated your deferred pension. It is then held in the Plan and will increase each year until you retire. The increase rates in deferment are different in each of the defined benefit sections within the Plan. Please go to My DB section to find out more information.

Can I do anything to boost my income?
As you have left the Plan, you can no longer make contributions to it.

However, if you made additional voluntary contributions with Aviva, you can still manage how your Pension Pot is invested. Please click here to view the current value of your Pension Pot and see where it is invested.
