Nim Maradas decided not to stand for reselection as a member nominated trustee director (MND) after 15 years and stepped down as a trustee on the 21 February 2026. The Trustee Board is extremely grateful for Nim’s hard work and dedication over so many years.
The selection process carried out in late 2025 resulted in a high number of strong applications and following an in-depth interview process, we are pleased to announce that Joanne Russell has been appointed as our new MND and joined the Board on the 22 February 2026.
Joanne previously worked for Pearson for 8 years as Senior Vice President Investor and Media Relations and Global Sustainability, leaving in 2025. During her time at Pearson, she served as a company nominated trustee director for 5 years and was a member of the Investment Committee.
Joanne currently works for Haleon as their Head of Investor Relations.
